SHEA BUTTER1,3 Fair trade. Plant butter pressed from the nuts of the shea tree from West Africa. Contains the highest proportion of unsaponifiables of all plant butters – including provitamin A, vitamin E, allantoin and triterpenes. These compounds work synergistically to provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisture-binding effects. Protects and conditions the skin, keeping it soft and supple, shields against wind and cold and supports the barrier function of sensitive baby and children's skin.
COCOA BUTTER1 Virgin plant butter cold-pressed from cocoa beans. Rich in saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids (stearic and oleic acid), natural vitamin E and polyphenols with antioxidant properties. Skin-soothing, deeply conditioning and moisture-binding. Creates a velvety-soft skin feel, protects against dryness and strengthens the lipid barrier. One of the most intensive natural moisturisers — for the sensitive lips of babies, children and mothers.
SEA BUCKTHORN1 Pulp oil from the sea buckthorn berry – one of the most nutrient-rich wild fruits in Europe. Exceptionally high content of carotenoids (beta-carotene, lycopene), natural vitamin E, vitamin C and rare omega-7 fatty acids (palmitoleic acid). Omega-7 is an important building block of skin lipids and is proven to support the regeneration and build-up of the skin barrier. Intensely conditioning, protective and moisture-binding – ideal for sensitive, dry and chapped lip and cheek skin. The natural carotenoid content gives the oil its characteristic orange-red colour.
